- I'm a 34-year-old mother of one and wife to the world's biggest nerdboy (World of Warcraft, anyone?). I work as a trade publication editor (who gets paid to travel and eat pizza, hence the hips). I've never been to the Kentucky Derby, never been deep-sea fishing or to Scotland. But I HAVE swam with dolphins and been in a national commercial. So I don't completely suck.

Okay, I'm a nerd, because I preordered the white plastic thing, too.
I still haven't cleared it with my vascular surgeon. The white plastic thing might be too dangerous for me!

OK, I got this too (also the battery recharger and the pink plastic cover to protect from sweaty feet smells).
My first time out the little white platform said to me (yeah, it speaks! did that freak you out, too?):
"You're very off balance. Do you fall down a lot?"
